The wall art showcases the variety of specialty donuts they have available each day.
Wee Wops Donuts is a café and donut shop that sells freshly brewed expresso and handmade donuts.
The shop is located through the doors of Carini’s at 203 6th St., Milford. Wee Wops is open Wednesday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The menu consists of a variety of donuts made fresh from scratch daily. Some of the specialty donuts include Boston cream, maple bacon, Nutella cream filled and chocolate with crushed hazelnuts. The owner is focused on serving quality products, so the flour used to make the donuts is never bleached or bromated.
They also have a variety of coffee products like iced lattes, macchiatos, drip coffees and cappuccinos. They pride themselves on serving fresh coffee as their coffee beans go from the farm to the cup in as little as 10 days, whereas the average time is 180 days. The shop also serves a variety of other drinks including hot chocolate, tea, chai and matcha.
Wee Wops Donuts first opened in late November and has been thriving since. The owner named it Wee Wops based off a childhood dream of owning a duck. She thought Wee Wop sounded like the noise ducks make when they walk. Duck shaped donuts are often served to show the inspiration for the name.
