Alec Baldwin stars in the new upcoming movie “Rust”. On Oct. 21, he was practicing a scene with a prop gun and the gun accidentally went off killing cinematographer Halyna Hitchens and injuring director Joel Souza. It was a live bullet that killed Hitchens and injured Souza. Before the apparent shooting, people on set were protesting outside of the movie’s setting. The cops were called to the set after 911 reports were called claiming abuse and negligence towards staff and crew members. There is no definitive proof at this time that foul play was involved.
