Delaware Valley’s bi-annual Red Cross blood drive is back. It will be held in the high school gymnasium on March 27  from 8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Information and permission slips can be picked up in the 11/12 nurse’s office. 

The blood supply has been the lowest it has been in over a decade. Blood is needed for all blood types so everyone is encouraged to come and participate and give back to the community. 

HOSA students will be going around school to answer any questions about the event and anyone interested can sign up through them. 

“HOSA students have been instrumental in recruiting new potential donors and educating them on the process,” says Jodi Kresse, 11/12 School Nurse. 11/12 school nurse Mrs. Jodi Kresse said.

If participants choose to register online, enter “Delaware Valley” as the sponsor code. All donors require a photo ID.
