This year, the school store is implementing new technology, clothing designs and more. The school store is already off to a good start by making its first online sale, according to Mr. Jeff Luhrs, who is the business and marketing teacher. The students who are part of business and marketing ran a district-wide sale of clothing that supports the new 1 DV initiative.
Senior Logan Lee is excited about the future of the store.
“We just had our first online sale which was big, the collaboration with the 1DV initiative, and lastly newer clothing designs which is going to be a surprise,” Lee said.
The students who run the school store have been collaborating with teachers in the school, such as art teacher Krystine Thompson with selling T-shirts.
There are many items Luhrs thinks that the students should look forward to at the school store. “We are going to add some new aesthetics to the counters and clothing racks. We will have big holiday sales and seasonal upgrades,” Mr. Luhrs said.
The store will also be implementing newer technology for its podcast, and it will be trying to expand it into a YouTube channel. With their new channel on the way, they have upgraded to newer cinema cameras and other equipment.
There are many items to expect and watch out for this year at the school store. So stop by, support the store, and show your school spirit.
