Established in neighboring Port Jervis, Bagel HQ is the most recent bagel shop added to the tri-state area.
Similar to most delis, this bagel shop’s menu is not restricted to only bagels. Although there is a surplus of bagel options, there are also additional breakfast choices on the menu. This includes omelettes, breakfast wraps and heroes. Bagel HQ also offers a large menu of lunch sandwiches including traditional cold cuts, chicken salad, tuna salad and grilled cheese.
The “breakfast plate” came with eggs, bacon, toast and homefries. Although it wasn’t too impressive, a good portion of food came with the price.
Most of the staff was friendly and the overall environment was welcoming. Compared to Milford’s Naked Bagel, the menus both have a wide variety for breakfast and lunch. Bagel HQ’s prices are reasonable but slightly higher than the prices at the Naked Bagel.
The hours of operation are consistently the same, opening at 6 a.m. and closing at 3 p.m. every day.
