Local Iron Valley real estate agent Mr. Michael Iuzzolino visited Mrs. Jillian Feese’s Housing and Design class, as well as Mr. Jeff Luhr’s Business and Marketing class, to emphasize the significance of real-world real estate and marketing, which started in early October.
Mr. Iuzzolino worked with Mrs. Feese to provide the opportunity to speak with the class during their housing market unit. He covered essential topics such as the home-buying process, various types of mortgages available to homeowners, interest rates and closing costs, providing students with valuable insights into the industry.
“Mr. Iuzzolino was a great source of knowledge for the students, and they were able to connect what they learned into real world applications,” Mrs. Feese said. “Mr. Iuzzolino brought his expertise to the real estate market.”
While Mr. Iuzzolino educated Housing and Design students about the intricacies of the housing market, he also took the opportunity to share his marketing expertise with those in the Business and Marketing Career Tech program.
As a cornerstone sponsor of the scoreboard in the high school, Iron Valley Real Estate plays a significant role in the initiative of community. Upon discovering that the Business and Marketing CTE was responsible for creating advertisements for Iron Valley on the scoreboard, Mr. Iuzzolino eagerly stepped in to offer students valuable real-world experience.
Mr. Iuzzolino plans on continuing to come back to teach DV students, as it is an important value for him.
