Pennsylvania FBLA is partnering with the Red Cross organization’s disaster relief fund in order to help raise money for the recent hurricane victims in Florida.
Members across the state can participate with their local FBLA chapter. Students can help financially or by donating blood in the blood drives held at the school. The members of FBLA set up a booth at the pink out football game to raise funds for the Red Cross and their relief fund. FBLA has raised $719 which has been matched by Lurhs True Value Hardware. Their state goal for this project is $50,000. Meanwhile, the goal for DV is $1,000 and they are almost there.
This is a state wide fundraiser and they collect funds from Erie, Pennsylvania all the way back to Milford. This state project lasts all the way until April at the state leadership conference.
