New Century Festivals held their annual Christmas Market and Winter Wonderland in Port Jervis on Dec. 7 and 14.
Held in New Century’s extensive 40-acre property and venue, the event featured several different activities such as a tree lighting on Dec. 7, a Christmas light tunnel and light designs, caroling and live music. The market also provided holiday crafts, photos and a sing-along with Santa for kids.
Head event organizer, Jin Pang, explained how the market and other New Century Festival events are a great platform for branding and community outreach for small businesses and corporations.
“In addition to curating quality vendors, every year, we spend a lot of effort reaching out to local churches, charity organizations, schools and other community groups,” Pang said. “We have been looking for joint efforts to help families in need and to give a memorable Winter Wonderland to all the kids in the community.”
The event provided important opportunities to boost local small businesses, while also ensuring the community had a fun-filled experience.
New Century Festivals next event will be on Jun. 14-15, celebrating the U.S. Army’s 250th birthday at the 3rd annual America the Beautiful Festival.
