The healthcare CTE students offered a fun, interactive experience for children in the preschool run by the early childhood education CTE students. The teddy bear clinic included a check-in, X-ray, check-up area and more.

Junior Kim Smyser is this year’s 2024-25 Opinions Co-Editor. Kim is a first-year journalist who is involved in FBLA, SAAC, Student Council, Warrior Empowerment Mentor, yearbook, cross country and track and field. In Kim’s free time she enjoys running, skiing and being an active member of her church. She is looking forward to a great first year on the Del.Aware!

Junior Emma Simmons, one of the Del.Aware’s Sports Co-Editor, is involved in the school community. She participates in cross country, track and field, FBLA, Student Council, SAAC, warrior empowerment and Yearbook Club. Her desire to take journalism stemmed from her love of writing, and she thought that journalism would be a great opportunity to develop her writing skills. Her favorite part of the staff is their diversity. “It’s a group of people with different backgrounds and personalities,” Emma said. She looks forward to taking lots of new classes and making memories during this school year.
