Igloo dining at the Hotel Fauchere
The Hotel Fauchere, located at 401 Broad St., has begun its annual igloo dining experience. Behind the building, the hotel has four igloos set up with dining and festive decor. All igloos are heated and have bluetooth speakers, providing a cozy, romantic atmosphere.
The cost of the igloo dinner reflects the one-of-a-kind experience. It is $300/per igloo, including food, and $100 for a reservation deposit. Due to the fact that it is an outdoor dining experience, reservations may be cancelled because of poor weather conditions.
If you are looking for a special place to take your loved one for Valentine’s Day, and have the funds for it, the Hotel Fauchere’s igloo dining may be the perfect place for you.
Movie at Flagship Cinema
For those who are looking for a less expensive option, the Flagship Cinema in the Westfall Town Center is showing one Valentine’s Day movie. The theatre will be playing “Heart Eyes,” which is a Valentine’s Day horror film. If you are not interested in horror movies, the theatre will also be showing “Captain America: Brave New World” and “Paddington in Peru,” which are both released on Feb. 14.
Adult evening tickets are $13.25 while child and senior tickets are $10. All day-time tickets are $10. The movie theater also has a “Super Tuesday” deal where all ticket prices are $7.75 on Tuesdays. Popcorn, snacks and drinks are also available for purchase.
Ice skating at Anne Street Park
An even less expensive option for Valentine’s Day is Anne Street Park ice skating, which is completely free. The rink is located in the baseball field of Anne Street Park. Those enjoying the ice rink can bring their own ice skates or can borrow those in the rink’s nearby shed. This option is the perfect inexpensive, cute date.
