Emma Ciancio, Editor-in-Chief
Senior Emma Ciancio is beginning her second year on the Del.Aware staff as the ‘24-’25 Editor in Chief. Emma is the Del.Aware’s social media manager, as well as a part of the broadcast, podcast and events committee.
Outside of the Del.Aware, Emma manages the varsity football team, manages the girls basketball team, is a peer mediator and is a mental health ambassador for Morgan’s Message. Emma also writes freelance for the Pike County paper, the Dispatch.
Emma said that the Del.Aware staff is like a second family to her.
“It is rewarding to see all of the hard work the staff and I put into each 24 page issue,” Emma said.
After high school, Emma plans on attending a four-year college to major in Sports Management and Communications.
Emma lives by the quote, “Life isn’t about finding yourself, it’s about making yourself.”
