Fashion Aware: Bathing Suits

As summer is quickly approaching, it is necessary to be up to date on the bathing suit trends. The most fashionable trend coming up is bright and patterned bathing suits.

For both guys and girls, bright colors and patterns have become very popular across social media. It is super beneficial to get a head start on bathing suit shopping, as it can be very difficult once the summer starts to find the right sizes or exactly what you’re looking for.

Hollister has been a well-known store for years for their popular jeans and following the latest fashion trends. However, Hollister has been broadening their clothing, especially bathing suits in recent years. Recently, Hollister has grown for the frills and floral designs. For guys they offer an array of bathing suits, whether you’re looking for a plain color, floral or bright patterned design, they sell it. Girls can also find a variety of types of bathing suits, whether it be a two-piece or one-piece.

Kulani Kinis is another popular online bathing suit shop. Following and creating trends, the options are endless and the sizing is very inclusive. On social media it may seem like a female heavy brand, but guys can also find bathing suits of all sorts of designs. They even sell matching bathing suits for you and your bestie or you and your significant other. Their Instagram KulaniKinis shares a variety of the cool and trendy designs they have to offer.

However, the costs for these bathing suits can be expensive. For females looking for a bathing suit, paying $30-$60 for a top isn’t the cheapest option.

Looking locally, TJ Maxx and Walmart offer a bunch of options for both males and females on the affordable side.

Bathing suits are a necessity for pool days and beach trips. Bright colors and patterns are trends that are fun to follow, but wearing what you find comfortable is the most important. It doesn’t matter what you wear or where you buy the suit, but it matters how it makes you feel. No matter the pattern, color or trend, choosing what suits you is its own trend in itself.

Trends change all the time. While bright patterns and colors may be in right now, the summer holds an endless amount of time for new trends to come around.
