My recent visit to Tom Quick Inn in Milford with my mother was a pleasant dining experience overall.
Upon walking in, we were greeted kindly, which immediately set a positive tone for the evening. The restaurant had a warm, cozy atmosphere that felt inviting without being too overwhelming, making it easy to relax after a long day and enjoy the meal.
Although it took a few minutes for our server to come over, she promptly brought us water, explained the specials in detail and made us feel well taken care of. The menu was extensive and offered a wide variety of options, making it easy for both my mother and I to find something appealing.
We started with an appetizer of fresh bruschetta served on garlic crostini. It was flavorful, fresh and a delightful way to begin the meal. Shortly after, we were brought warm bread for the table, which was accompanied by butter and olive oil with red pepper flakes.
For entrees, I ordered the chicken francaise with fettuccini, while my mother chose the chicken marsala with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. The chicken in my dish was cooked well and the pasta was tasty. Although the francaise sauce was a bit runny, it still had a good flavor.
To finish the meal, we were offered dessert menus and decided on an affogato, which was a satisfying and enjoyable ending.
Overall, Tom Quick Inn provides a comfortable atmosphere, reasonable prices and a solid dining experience worth revisiting.
